A demonstrative and landmark project to build a new “dual circulation” development pattern of China’s convention and exhibition industry

From June 24 to 27, 2021, National Convention and Exhibition Center (NCEC) (Tianjin) will grandly organize the first exhibition of a national exhibition hall of “industry-wide, large-scale, high starting point and high-quality” China Building Science Conference and Green Intelligent Building Expo. The expo will implement the important comments of Chinese President Xi Jinping on “changing China’s appearance with China construction”. It is an important measure to implement new development concepts, build a new development pattern, and promote high-quality development in the new development stage, and is a demonstrative and landmark project to build a new “dual circulation” development pattern of China’s convention and exhibition industry, as well as a practical action to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The event will open up a new chapter of the 14th Five-Year Plan.

The expo is positioned to "promote green and smart buildings, help to achieve the peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality goal". With the theme of “Green Buildings for a Better Life”, the exhibition will be led by “new infrastructure” and focus on latest developments in construction industrialization, whole process consulting, BIM and CIM technology, building reconstruction, green building materials, green ecological city, sponge city, smart city, etc. Aiming to jointly build a platform for China’s construction industry to implement new development concepts and move towards “built by China, intelligent manufacturing in China, and created in China” through international promotion!

The expo will show design and innovation, sponge city and green building materials, modern buildings and prefabricated buildings, building energy-saving and green building materials, building mechanical and electrical engineering, smart buildings and “new infrastructure”, green smart decoration, construction machinery, comprehensive solutions for building implementation, etc., which will fully display “one-stop” industry solutions, cutting-edge trends and latest achievements in the entire industry chain covering architectural planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance.

Highlights

（一）The first benchmarking exhibition for China’s construction industry to serve national development strategies and a new platform to facilitate Tianjin’s opening up.

The expo brings together thousands of well-known enterprises and institutions across the entire construction industry chain of “planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance”. It will fully demonstrate the strength of flagship platform of the national exhibition in northern China, provide one-stop industry solutions and share commercial values. It will make every effort to build itself into a professional exhibition brand of China’s construction industry, a leading benchmark of green and smart buildings, and a forward-looking platform that promotes the innovative development of the industry, serve China’s development strategies, and contribute to Tianjin’s opening up.

（二）The first “market-oriented, large-scale, high-standard” home exhibition with a special area for achievements in China’s construction industry

As the first show after the completion of the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (Tianjin), the expo will be held as a “high starting point, high quality, industry-wide and large-scale” market-oriented self-organized construction industry exhibition. It is also a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. There will be “Achievements of China’s Construction Industry” to showcase country’s construction development history and important milestone since the 13th Five-Year Plan.

By joining hands with top scientific research institutions including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Building Research, Tsinghua University, and Tianjin University, architectural design and construction brand enterprises, functional housing and construction management agencies, real estate developers, and EPC general contractors, the expo responds to major national needs and is led by innovation, facilitating targeted matchmaking between the construction industry and related industries, research institutions and construction enterprises, aiming to develop into a platform for the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies and research achievements in the industry and project matchmaking.

National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) is constructed in accordance with the three-star standard of green building in a prefabricated manner.
